I’m less interested in just building a website, and more interested in how it fits into the bigger picture.
That means taking the time to understand the business, its goals, the people behind it and the people it serves – as well as how the website fits into its broader marketing, content, systems and day-to-day operations.
From there, I look at where technology can genuinely make things better. That might mean improving the experience for customers, making content easier to manage, streamlining a manual process, connecting systems or solving a technical problem.
I don’t believe in changing things simply for the sake of it. The goal is to understand what’s already working, identify where there’s friction or opportunity and build solutions that make life easier for the people using them.
