About Me

I’m Tracey Kemp and I steer the ship at Get Web Creative. It’s pretty much a one person show but I’m certainly not alone. I have a great network of fellow designers and developers on hand to collaborate with who are awesome at what they do.

I’m VERY passionate about WordPress. So passionate, that I have even been a co-organiser of a WordCamp (Sydney 2012, Brisbane 2015, Port Macquarie 2019), regularly attend WordPress meetups and have even run a meetup of my own that helped other WordPress developers in their businesses. I have been working with WordPress since 2008. I absolutely love it’s flexibility, fantastic, helpful community and how easy it is for my clients to use to manage their content. Win win win!

Before stumbling across WordPress I had a career in Graphic Reproduction – that step in the printing process that makes designs that look great on the screen, print great as well. From 1994 I worked on brochures and flyers, product catalogues and pricing lists, business cards and stationary, packaging and more. In fact I still do some of this work on the odd occasion my clients need some print material to support their online presence.

I have worked in Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast and even Thailand before relocating to the the Port Macquarie area in 2017. My goal is always to provide the best solution for my client’s needs and budget!
