Interactive Property Development Platforms with Data Integration
Developed as part of agency-led projects, these data-driven property platforms were designed to help residential property developers present and manage lot availability in a clear, scalable way.
The Problem
Property developments need to display a large amount of structured information – lots, stages, pricing, availability – and keep it up to date as things change.
In many cases, this is handled manually:
- updates require developer involvement
- information becomes inconsistent across the site
- sales teams rely on spreadsheets that aren’t connected to the website
- difficulty keeping availability data accurate and up to date
This creates delays and increases the risk of errors.
What I built
I developed a data-driven system that connects the website directly to structured property data.
This included:
- Interactive SVG-based site maps linked to individual lots and available home designs
- Structured content relationships between stages, lots and availability
- A Google Sheets-driven workflow allowing data to be updated externally
- Automated imports to keep the website in sync with current availability
The platform was built to be reusable across multiple developments, keeping property data accurate, synchronised and easy to manage.
The Outcome
- Sales teams could manage availability without needing developer input
- Reduced reliance on manual updates and developer intervention
- The website became a live source of truth, not a static marketing tool
- The system could be reused across projects, reducing future build time
My Role
I was responsible for the technical architecture and development of the platform, working alongside the agency’s design and project team.
This approach is now something I apply to other projects where structured data and external systems need to stay in sync.
