Keeping your software up to date is the easiest way to ensure any known loopholes in the code have been addressed, making it harder for hackers to use these to find a way into your site.
Security and Malware Scans
We’ll implement top notch security measures on your site and do scans daily to detect any abnormalities. If you do happen to become the target of a website hacker, the security barriers we put in place will make it harder for them to succeed.
Hack Protection
More and more websites are getting hacked every week and the attackers are getting smarter. Would you know what to do if you found your website hacked? How much would it cost your business? Would you know how to fix it? If the answer is no, we have you covered – if you get hacked whilst on our Care Plan we’ll fix it for free.
Offsite Backups
Backing up your site is absolutely crucial. Having daily offsite backup means that if, for any reason, something happens to your site or your hosting server, we’ll have a current version of your site at our fingertips, ready to restore and get you back on track with minimal repercussions.
Premium Plugin Access
We own premium licences for many industry-leading plugins that add essential features to your website. Whilst on a Care Plan you’ll have access to these licences and we will keep these plugins updated on your website. Sometimes this amounts to more than $1000/year when compared to buying your own licences.
Legal Pages
Your legal pages (such as Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions) should be reviewed and revised regularly. As technology advances and the privacy laws change, your legal pages need to reflect that.

Can I maintain my own website?
Sure! However, you should know the pitfalls. Here are just a few questions you should ask yourself before you sign up for that job:
- Do you know how to backup your site before running updates?
- Do you know how to test major updates on a staging site so your live site doesn’t break?
- Do you know how to get a clean backup and restore it to your site after something has gone wrong?
- How long would it take you to figure these things out?
- Would you know how to fix your site if it has been hacked?
- Are you involved in the WordPress community so you’re aware of new features, best practices and bugs?
- Is maintaining your website really the best use of your time?
Unless you’re a budding developer chances are the answer is likely no to most of these.
How do you manage software licences?
Either BYO yours (or your client’s if we’re white labelling) software licences or sign up to a care plan and use our licences (with the added bonus of having us take care of all the website’s maintenance requirements). Being on a care plan with us can save you hundreds of dollars each year if you don’t have your own licences already.
